A PRAYER WRITING

A HOUSE OF PRAYER SERVING Phoenix, AZ | Elder R.C. Hamilton

"Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and shew my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins." (Isaiah 58:1)

THE SACREDNESS OF PRAYER

The Sacredness of Prayer is to honor the perfection of Christ’s Presence in His Holy Word. This is God’s covering, a blood covering for the Church of God for protection.

We are instructed to take the Word of God down in prayer in thanksgiving, bringing our offering of gratitude for Christ Jesus giving Himself for us. We are chosen to daily show our affections for His Grace and Mercy.

We must stay focused to be taught to accept our “learnings” in prayer. It is one thing to “hear” in prayer, but it’s another “to obey” what we hear. We must honor obedience for what we hear in prayer . . . for the perfection of our soul.

We are admonished to stay focused in the Word of God while praying because the blood flow of Jesus Christ operates in our minds to restore joy and peace. The heart of the mind is the renewal station for the Spirit of Truth to strengthen the inner man for the character of God’s Holiness to follow peace with all men.

Accepting our “learnings” of what we hear by faith challenges our giving of ourselves. We are to be committed to prayer and consecration in the Word of God daily for a cultivated heart to honor God’s emotions—His affections for the Spirit to lead us to purity.

Sacred Prayer is given to His chosen for the establishment of the Kingdom of God for eternal living in Christ Jesus. This is meditational worship in the Spirit of Truth for directions for our character.

“But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer” (I Peter 4:7).

We must pray for our time of effectiveness in serving the Lord Jesus Christ. The time is nigh. We must desire that our emotions in prayer will relate to the attitude of Christ’s desires and decisions. To stay focused, we need His discernment to remain “awakened” to Spiritual responsibilities.

“Stay focused . . . Prayer is Sacred . . . Watch unto Prayer.”

“Watch unto Prayer”—in your prayer times; closely observe your thoughts, meditations, and desires. Pray for Holy living and creative love to demonstrate the power of God in your inward man.

There are thoughts of interference that conflict with our giving God praise in our prayer times. These interferences come to distract our mind of thought to lose our praise in prayer.

“Be careful of conflicting thoughts . . . concern yourself.” Satan uses all types of distracting thoughts in prayer to control weakness or weariness in our mind to keep us tormented in afflictions. These are temptations. These must be rebuked, in Jesus’ name.

In prayer, when you begin to worship in Spirit and in Truth according to St. John 4:24, you are giving pure affections before the Throne of Grace to obtain pardon and mercy for your condition.

We must realize that in prayer we are in a very sacred position before God to present a Holy Offering for all our needs, and the needs of others. When we present ourselves in prayer, we are going into God’s dwelling place—before the Throne of Grace—for strength—making our supplications and petitions known for Spiritual deliverance.

We cannot take prayer for granted and treat God lightly and say, “Lord, here I am kneeling . . . I am here, Lord.” Prayer is a great privilege appointed to us to offer up an offering to our Messiah, Jesus Christ, our LORD. He is our Salvation, our Deliverer; He is our Defense.

Prayer is God’s Covenant Promise for your perfect relationship with Him. “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you (St. Matthew 7:7).

Watch unto Prayer . . . be careful, concerned about allowing your meditations to be controlled by worldly affections that profit nothing in the Kingdom of God. While we are in communication and seek Him first, we will receive everything we need. (This Prayer writing was given to Mother V.A. Hamilton in prayer)
